English For Busy People - in Malta
The best way to improve your spoken English naturally, easily and quickly
Dear English Language Learner,
Do you feel nervous when you speak English? Are you embarrassed speaking English in public? Are you afraid of making a fool of yourself? You feel you can't speak with confidence, although you've had several years of English at school and college?
Well, don't worry You're not alone! There are thousands of people out there like you struggling to improve their spoken English using traditional learning methods. In fact, that's how I learned French many years ago, and I still feel terrible today that I can't speak it confidently. That's why I decided to teach English. I was convinced that I could teach it in a more satisfying and effective way; in a way that would help people use the language naturally, easily and quickly. And it works!
You might also feel frustrated because you know that you need to spend more time and effort improving your English skills but just can't find the time to do so. Perhaps you've even tried to take part in regular once-a-week sessions, but it just didn't work for you, because of the demands of work and family life.
Again you're not alone. In my daily working life I see how difficult it is for people to come regularly to English sessions organised by their companies. Many have erratic working hours and long work days. They need to attend to unexpected and urgent business matters, to stand in for colleagues who are ill or on holiday, to go on business trips, and to attend pressing meetings which they are unable to reschedule.
My language learning story
Hello. I'm Christine, a native speaker of English, and my language learning story is probably a lot like yours. As I said earlier, my first foreign language learning experience wasn't at all motivating and it didn't get me to speak French (and that after 10 years of lessons). I was able to read French books with the help of a dictionary (and the English translation!!), but I was so scared of making mistakes and of looking ridiculous that I just didn't open my mouth.
I started learning German as my second foreign language at school. After a year at college I applied for an internship at Daimler-Benz and spent a wonderful six weeks in Stuttgart. It was during this time that I realised just how important it was to focus more on speaking the language rather than on grammar rules and practice exercises. It was an amazing experience. My German speaking skills improved greatly.
It taught me that the best place to learn a language is in a country where it is spoken. It's easier, more effective and much more fun.So what can I do to help you?
I believe that the best and quickest way to learn English is to immerse yourself in the language, and what better place is there to do that than on the beautiful island of Malta, one of the best kept secrets in the Mediterranean, along with me and a small group of other motivated language learners?
Join me for a week in Malta and let me help you improve your English skills (especially your speaking skills) and boost your confidence in a fun and exciting way. Let me create an inspiring and motivating learning experience for you; an experience you'll never forget.
You only need to invest a full week of your time. If you're lucky, you might even find that your employer is willing to support you!. If you decide to fly from Dusseldorf, we might be able to fly out together and so can start speaking at the airport! Getting away from the everyday stress and pressures of your busy working environment means that you will be able to free your head and focus more fully on improving your English quickly and effortlessly. And Malta is the ideal place to do this.
Why? Because it is one of the few truly bilingual countries (due to its colonial past) and one that can offer you the same authenticity and language immersion you would find in the UK, but with undoubted advantages. It is less expensive, has better weather, and better food! Why do you think I have been there seven times so far?
The week in Malta was absolutely amazing. In fact I think it was perfect. Everything was superbly organised and your training was very professional and highly effective. I really couldn't imagine a more memorable and enjoyable week of English. Thank you very much for helping me. Today I feel so much more confident when communicating with English speakers. I'm very happy that I was able to go to Malta with you. (Maic Stausberg - EschmannStahl)
You'll be amazed at just how much you can improve your English by using it all day, every day, for a whole week with me, the other participants and people we meet along the way. You'll have lots and lots of opportunities to speak and listen to English and to build your confidence over meals, while travelling around the island on the buses, going on walks and visiting the sights. And, of course, you won't be alone. I will always be close at hand to encourage you to talk, to correct mistakes, to help with vocabulary and grammar, to answer questions and to give you lots of invididual support and guidance to ensure you make rapid progress.
For this trip to take place, we need a group of minimum 6 and maximum 8. Keeping our group small allows for a comfortable and intimate learning environment, and guarantees you a high level of personal attention and a lot of sp eaking practice and interaction. Not only will you make progress fast, but you'll experience a lot of fun along the way. In fact, I really can't imagine a more rewarding and fulfilling experience.
What do I do?
I started my professional career as a corporate language trainer and coach just over ten years ago. That's when I realised that I was passionate about working with people, helping them become more confident and competent language users and giving them support for their personal development.
And what do I do? I encourage and inspire; listen and observe; communicate and interact; provide assistance and support; empower and motivate; answer questions and give examples; guide, coach and teach; correct and explain; plan and organise...
So if you've ready for a week of learning, laughter and fun; a week of exploration, inspiration and unforgettable experiences, let's look at the details.....

It was a tremendous learning experience that I can highly recommend. Thank you. (Silke Willeke, Soennecken LogServe GmbH)
